I've found that 35% peroxide will stop cutaneous infections better than systematic cipro. Its possible that iodine would work too. Medical stuff is sterilized in peroxide vapor. It stings, but is tolerable. Turpentine I've also used on a skin infection too. Iodine plus turp will react, spreading an iodine vapor cloud; this is used (or was) by vets on large animals.

As a mammal, I laugh in the face of the bacteria that cannot handle my oxygen.

As a large mammal, I am interested in simple cures.

They also used to sterilize wounds by firing off a bit of black powder in the gash.
