You get a letter which claims to be from some "court". It asserts that you "must" reply, spending time and money without apparent reimbursement. You've never agreed to any such obligation, so you toss it. Some time later you get another threatening letter with the same request. You should also toss it.

Any legitimate court would know that the postal service loses mail (they are a government "service" after all). And any legitimate court would know that value can't be taken from you without reimbursement (legally its called "taking"). And that you cannot be enslaved (conscripted, drafted, summoned, made an indentured servant, see the 13th), and that the Constitution (the 14th) prohibits local petty tyrants, judges, court "officials" from violating those rights.

Don't be fooled by these "jury duty" scams ---you are self sovereign.

Or a sheep, slave, statenigger.

Though if you do choose to accept an invitation to be
on a jury, realize that you have the final say about
the validity of the law ---not the judge, who will deceive
you about this.

If you disagree, then follow "the law" and send the runaway slaves back to their masters.
