WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that a school's strip search of an Arizona teenage girl accused of having prescription-strength ibuprofen was illegal.
Redding, who now attends college, was 13 when officials at Safford Middle School ordered her to remove her clothes and shake out her underwear because they were looking for pills - the equivalent of two Advils. The district bans prescription and over-the-counter drugs and the school was acting on a tip from another student.
In a dissent, Justice Clarence Thomas found the search legal...
This is "pubic hair" Thomas, right? Yep.

So its 10 pm and I hear a huge crash and loud barking in the back yard.
Turns out its a giant black 60 lb dog. I grab the nearest thing, a can
of hairspray, and try to deter him. The owner comes by and takes him away.
The dog was all the way in our back yard, having come some 10m+ along the side
of the house, then into the back yard. Its pitch black, no moon even. WTF.
I have a small cat and a 9 year old. I am livid. Then someone knocks
with the dog, asking what I sprayed him with --and I tell him, next time,
I shoot him. By that time I had a machete. I shut the door on the owner.
I called the police and flamed, then was referred to the animal control and
left a message, name, address, and phone number. The owner had already called
the police, no doubt trying to pre-empt me.
Later I called the Irvine police dispatcher back and apologized for flaming
when I first called.
She understood; the first time I called she had said it was legit to defend myself,
family, pets, and property. Supposedly the dog had broken its leash, but I saw
no fragment of that. Upon calling to apologize to her, I found out it was a *doberman*. Confirming my reaction.
I grew up with dogs, was even bitten by our pet sheepdog because of something *I* deserved, which I never held against her. (And was saddened when she was given
away when I went to college.) In Irvine, I've had little dogs come into the garage, and another even come into the house all the way to the computer station ---and I gave him food. I like dogs. I have a friend with two large dogs, my buddies. I do not like huge strange crazed unleased dogs in my back yard barking like crazy at 10 at night.
An opposum or racoon, fine, I've had them, they're native, and let them pass. (One racoon was sleeping, it turned out he had distemper, and I had animal control take him away --no healthy racoon would be trapped by a laundry basket as I had. I've
handed eggs and tossed cat food to racoons too. Let my toddler approach a family of racoons in Irvine. And saved a hurt crow as well. I like most animals more than most people.)
But a crazed loose *doberman* in my yard will not leave with just stiff hair next time.
Where I grew up, dogs chasing deer were legit targets.
In my Irvine gated-community neighborhood a labrador (a relatively mellow dog, compared to dobermans) chased and mauled a kid, a few years ago.
I'm putting some ammo closer to a pistol from now on. Though I wouldn't have had time to grab it. Hairspray is weak; I didn't even have a chance to light it.
What kind of psycho keeps a giant wild attack dog in
a neighborhood where folks have a zillionth of an acre or less, filled with litle kids, on a "leash" that supposedly breaks, yet leaves no evidence of it? (My wife also saw no broken-leash)
I hope for the dogs sake I don't learn where it lives. Not for the owners' sake
though.

Notice how the new UC Irvine minor is taught by girls.
No doubt for girls.
Can you say "Mrs degree"?
Its not "community engagement" they want, its a working
husband engagement.
What a waste. How spoiled can you be, to spend your formal education on this crap?

Oh, and this is in a school facing budget cuts that has reduced enrollment as a result.

UC Irvine Starts New Minor in Community Changemaking
The University of California at Irvine has launched a new undergraduate minor in Civics and Community Engagement. Students will participate in changemaking within their community for environmental sustainability, global citizenship, service to others and more. Students will be able to combine volunteer work with academic study and receive credit for making a difference.

Who exploits war dead? I say Mike Duvall.
A California legislator wants to expand state law to prevent sales of T-shirts, posters and buttons that carry the names of Iraq war dead without the permission of their heirs.
Republican Assemblyman Mike Duvall has introduced legislation in response to the sale of anti-war T-shirts listing the more than 4,000 American troops who have been killed in Iraq since 2003. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2009/06/21/state/n135753D71.DTL
Or the flagmakers (naah, they're Chinese, and own us).
Or the politicians?
Or the Israelis who consume US troops for their aims (see politicians).
But soldiers are moral zombies, having chosen to sacrifice their free will for a little money and fake testosterone. So they don't really count as people. Admittedly, they're kind of stupid to begin with, and thus succeptible to brainwashing (aka patriotism, a dangerous drug), but still, we hold people responsible for their irresponsibility.
There is no god, but if there were, he'd hate the US these days, and especially the US operatives (soldiers, politicians, voters who vote pro-war) who carry out the evil acts.

He's givin' it away like Bristol Palin.

He should be given credit though for introducing the comedianne Sarah Palin (and Bristol!) to us.

PARIS -- President Nicolas Sarkozy said the Muslim burqa would not be welcome in France, calling the full-body religious gown a sign of the "debasement" of women.
In the first presidential address to parliament in 136 years, Sarkozy faced critics who fear the burqa issue could stigmatize France's Muslims and said he supported banning the garment from being worn in public.

This is what Murray and Herrnstein wrote about: smart people (from any population; the woman in the story is black) often achieve a lot, despite background.

Outspoken Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann says she's so worried that information from next year's national census will be abused that she will refuse to fill out anything more than the number of people in her household.
In an interview Wednesday morning with The Washington Times "America's Morning News," Mrs. Bachmann, Minnesota Republican, said the questions have become "very intricate, very personal" and she also fears ACORN, the community organizing group that came under fire for its voter registration efforts last year, will be part of the Census Bureau's door-to-door information collection efforts.
"I know for my family the only question we will be answering is how many people are in our home," she said. "We won't be answering any information beyond that, because the Constitution doesn't require any information beyond that."

On Barranca and Jamboree there were a bunch of Iranians with "Where's my vote" posters having a demonstration. I gave them the V sign.
I don't know whether the election was rigged or not. Doesn't much matter, not my problem.
Wish the US understood the concept of "not my problem"
But you can't have an empire without intervention
Iran does have a right to nuclear power, though, under the non-proliferation treaty they signed.
And if you worry about nuclear-armed theocracies, we should be bombing Israel, who never signed the treaty, has nukes, proliferated to South Africa. But the US doesn't acknowledge that, because it couldn't give the billions it does to them if it did.
Religion is a terrorist weapon, turns people into bomb guidance systems.
Oh, and if you think Israel is a friend, look what they did to the USS Liberty.
And how they manipulate --probably blackmail-- US politicians. (Harman, etc)
Here's a link to a story about the demonstration.

There is some commericial entertainment called the Lakers. They have state-subsidized arenas. Tomorrow they have a parade on state streets. Much like the Romans.
One can only hope for a few kilotons in the arena.
Read Jared Diamond's Collapse. People continue in behaviors well after they are maladaptive. The US is like that -military, space, welfare of all sorts.
And Los Angeles too. Its decaying, bankrupt, and putting on displays like this.
Let the power fall.
Hollow americans pump their endogenous drugs by vicariously identifying with this crap. They will implode.
And deserve it.

Sotomayor belongs to a sexist club that doesn't admit men.
If a man did the reciprocol, he would have zero chance.
But she thinks that being female and hispanic gives her special privleges.
Now, I think private clubs with apartheid rules should be completely legal. IE not a legitimate concern of the State. But the State thinks otherwise, and how can she
represent the law if she thinks she is (and her affinities are) an exception?
Judge FAIL.

Michelle Obama hosted some local loser children, not the children her kids go to school with, but DC public shool kids. They picked vegetables. One of the kids said, "better than fried chicken", apparently unawares of the stereotype.
Michell's kids go to Sidwell Friends School, at $29K a pop. Most of their peers are non-black, unlike the photo-op Bancroft school kids.
Read the Bell Curve. Or don't. Ignorance is bliss.

Gloria Allred, a Calif attorney, continues to hound Octomom. Allred is a media
whore of the worst kind. The state bar should disown her. Most recently she's
harassing a news firm for filming Octo's kids.
Octomom is realizing some errors, and seems to have insight, from interviews I've seen.
Allred has neither. She is pure, manipulative evil. A disgrace to the legal system and lawyers in general.

In the advanced placement fourth grade at Santiago Hills elementary school, only 25% (7 or 8 out of 33) are non-asian (asian including Indian). They have 1 teacher.
The normal fourth grade has 2 teachers and half are non-asian (17 of 32).
This makes sense if you've read _The Bell Curve_.
The autistic class, spanning three grades, has 4 teachers for 10 autistics.
Hows that for resource (mis)allocation?

In a separate test, the NYPD planted safe amounts of radioactive material - simulating less-powerful dirty bombs - in five unmarked test cars. All were successfully intercepted on the Brooklyn Bridge and several other bridges.
pproaching midnight, police got a hit on a red SUV that was quickly stopped. Supervisors at the scene took note on whether officers took proper precautions approaching the vehicle.
In back was a fake device specially designed by the Department of Energy to emit safe levels of neutrons, along with two technicians charged with protecting it.
This means the targets were emitting into the public.

I continue to be amazed at the propoganda that says that traders captured negroes from africa as slaves. They bought them, fair and square, from negroes who had captured and enslaved them. It was and continues to be normal in africa.
A few years ago an african (egyptian) couple was caught with a slave in Irvine, California. She was living in their garage. She was purchased from her family. This is Orange County, the "OC". Both the family, their offspring, and the slave herself considered this normal.
Yet fiction like "Roots" portrays europeans as capturing them. Fail. How could europeans manage a foreign environment like that? All they did was engage in commerce with the negroes who traded negroes as slaves. Its all tribal warfare like crips (tm) and bloods (tm).
But its not PC to say that negroes sold negroes, so the blame is on others. Don't buy it. Its not even plausible.

Candidate's son died after apparent fall from cliff
Noah Krom, 22, son of Irvine Councilwoman Beth Krom, was found on a beach near UC Santa Barbara.
He was pushed by a Taiwanese upset that his mother (Beth Krom, as Irvine council member) gave away Taiwan to China in a signed document. It was part of Irvine's corrupt "Sister Cities" program, which also collaborated with Mexican drug-states.
Do the math.
Overall, its evolution in action. Actions have consequences. Feedback is good.
Blowback better.

SONOITA, Ariz. -- Eight illegal immigrants "stacked like wood" in the back of a sports-utility vehicle were killed when the driver lost control on a remote southeastern Arizona highway, authorities said Sunday.
At least 27 men and women were in the vehicle traveling about four miles east of Sonoita when the vehicle rolled for an unknown reason shortly before midnight Saturday, said Officer Joy Craig of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

In California (and elsewhere) the cops call these "clown cars" because when they are pulled over, people keep on running out of them. Way too many people.

Dan Denton is stuck in a vicious cycle: He's behind on his bills after losing his job. But lousy credit is spoiling his chances of finding new employment.
Recruiters from a St. Louis-based investment company recently rescinded an offer after looking at his credit history, which has been mauled by overdue card payments and an impending foreclosure on his Inland Empire house. He and his wife, Dana, filed for bankruptcy protection this month to try to hang on to their home.
"Of course your credit's going to look bad when you've been unemployed for months," said Denton, 60, a former fundraiser for the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove. "But what relevance does that have on your performance?"

Skateboarder says he's sorry for naked rooftop rant that drew police
Professional skateboarder Jereme Rogers is apologizing for his recent naked rooftop rant, which disturbed his neighbors in Redondo Beach.
Rogers, 24, shed his clothes and climbed onto the roof of his two-story house on Havemeyer Lane and Goodman Avenue around 6:40 a.m. Monday. At times, he was seen pacing near the 20-foot-high edge. He shouted and preached to the neighborhood before Redondo Beach police Lt. Jim Acquarelli climbed onto the roof and talked him down.
The Daily Breeze's Larry Altman interviewed the skateboarder: Rogers, who is religious and often talks about spirituality, said in the interview that he was preaching to the neighbors and talking about God. "I literally was walking on the edge," he said. "They said my balance was amazing." Rogers told Altman that he "ate some 'mushrooms' and bugged out," preaching naked on his rooftop.

Just like the space shuttle:
Ten minutes later, a cascade of problems began: Automatic messages indicate the autopilot had disengaged, a key computer system had switched to alternative power, and controls needed to keep the plane stable had been damaged. An alarm sounded indicating the deterioration of flight systems.
Three minutes after that, more automatic messages reported the failure of systems to monitor air speed, altitude and direction. Control of the main flight computer and wing spoilers failed as well.
The last automatic message, at 11:14 p.m., indicated loss of cabin pressure and complete electrical failure — catastrophic events in a plane that was likely already plunging toward the ocean.
"This clearly looks like the story of the airplane coming apart," the airline industry official told the AP. "We just don't know why it did, but that is what the investigation will show."
Circumstances point to terrorism in Air France crash, UIndy expert says
woodwell-dougAs speculation continues over the crash of an Air France jetliner on a transatlantic flight, a University of Indianapolis expert says recent events point to the possibility of terrorism.
Although there have been no claims of responsibility or specific indications of sabotage, the disappearance of a large airliner without warning is extremely rare, and investigators say no potential causes have been ruled out. Today, aviation authorities said another Air France flight from Buenos Aires to Paris was grounded temporarily May 27 because of a telephoned bomb threat.
The circumstantial evidence for terrorism includes a history of Islamic extremism in and around Brazil, where the flight originated, as well as the recent opening of a French military base on the Arabian Peninsula, according to Douglas Woodwell, assistant professor of international relations at UIndy.
“During the past week, the French government announced the landmark opening of a military base in Dubai, the first permanent overseas military base the French have opened since they decolonized in the early 1960s,” Woodwell says. “The fact that the United States had stationed troops on the Arabian Peninsula during and after the Gulf War was probably the most important concrete factor motivating Al Qaeda in its subsequent attacks on the United States, including 9/11. The French basing agreement was announced on January 15, which is sufficient time for Al Qaeda sympathizers to organize a response.”

France's defense minister and the Pentagon have said there were no signs that terrorism was involved, and Jobim said "that possibility hasn't even been considered."

In Paris, the head of France's accident investigation agency, Paul-Louis Arslanian, said he was "not optimistic" that rescuers could even recover the plane's black boxes.
How convenient.

Swine flu may be ramping up. Good for it. There will still be plenty
of hosts even if it reaches strong mortality rates, typically bad (self-limiting)
for pathogens. Fortunately it will
clean scumzones like Africa more than others. HIV is way too slow, although that is of course an advantage in spreading.

When they find evidence of high exposive damage to the airframe, will they publish it? I don't think so. It would scare the rubes. To know that the god government has failed.
Brisant explosives leave characteristic craters and metal deformation.
BTW, the US has covert submarines that can and will recover the black boxes. But their contents won't be revealed, as they will be claimed in public that they can't be found. Because they would reveal US FAIL.
If the bodies are intact, they'll float after a little while; if punctured, they won't.
Meanwhile UBL released an audio when the house nigger was going to talk in the
caliphate. UBL points out that Pakistan has generated a million refugees, whereas
the 19 dudes who took down the WTC were middle class, and didn't personally
feel the effects of empire. The million refugees have.
What is too bad is that UBL doesn't realize that layfolk don't control their government, despite claims of democracy; nonetheless, the only language amerikans
understand is dead amerikans, and in a democracy, nominally, citizens are guilty.
BTW, the dead american zombies (soldiers) now number 5,000. Cool.
The way its going, that will be doubled in a year or two. Sweet.

Moore talks about war and GM as if making weapons for US foreign

a festering corpse (Government Motors) alive with his necrophilia. And, he is a pinhead subscriber to climate hysteria and oil paranoia.

I sometimes listen to NPR on the way into work. Whenever they use the word "we", you need to lock your wallet and grab your gun ---someone is using propoganda
techniques to convince you that you are part of "we". As in "our troops" or
"our economy" or "we need to.." or "our children" or "our nation/state/etc" or "our civic duty"
When someone uses "we" or "our" you should consider them your enemy. For our sakes.

San Jacinto police and Riverside County firefighters responded to the 900 block of Idyllwild Drive about 1:20 a.m. after someone reported seeing fireworks at what used to be San Jacinto Golf Center, said Herlinda Valenzuela, a spokeswoman for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
“They thought it was fireworks, but once we got there, it was actually a fire,” Valenzuela said.
It appeared that the two men had been stealing wires from a transformer and, in the process, accidentally electrocuted themselves, she said.
