Shrinky dink plastic shrinks when put in a 350F oven. It gets thicker and inks become permenant. It turns out that plastic food lids, labelled "6" inside a recycle-triangle, and/or labelled "PS" are the correct kind of plastic.

So: save the clear tops from your food. Give to your kids, with scissors and markers. Then shrink. Very cool, totally free.
