No one has imagined that the Cosmos collision was the Russian antisat test. The chinese got theirs, then the US did theirs (pretending not to be a test) and now the "defunct" cosmos takes out a nominally non-State affiliated (although the US military saved the Iridium constellation in fact) satellite.
