This is true if UCI continues to grow based on its largely asian (ie high performing) students, eg in useful fields; and will not be true if it panders
to hispanic and blacks who typically go into useless fields

On the other hand there are occasionally white women in the useless fields, typically looking for an "Mrs" degree, so it can be useful to go to their parties.
