Here's a plan: Israel leaks nuclear materials for a dirty bomb (radiological
dispersal device) to Al Q who pops it off in the US. A few acres are toast
(the new Ground Zero TM) and a few thousand die in the panic, but
Israel wins big. Israel has nuclear weapons and unmonitored facilities; it
is not a signor of the nuclear non-proliferation pact, unlike Iran.

If the US traced the materials, it would not be able to publicly pin it on the
Israelis, much like the USS Liberty attack.

Pretty clever chess, eh?
